Greetings to all BDRPOA members,
Enclosed with this letter is our new 2015 Association Directory. You will probably notice and wonder why there are no telephone numbers listed for the Association members. This is because our State Legislators in all their infinite wisdom have dictated to all property / home owners associations in the state of Colorado that we cannot publish member telephone numbers and other selective information. This kind of defeats the purpose of a directory, but who are we to challenge this edict? So now you will have to search the internet for phone numbers or maybe hang on to one of your old directories for established phone numbers if you want to call your neighbors. I thought things were going well in this area since I don’t recall any complaints. At least you can be assured that our politicians are not just sitting up there in Denver doing nothing.
In the future, look for changes in our By Laws and Policies as we review and make changes to them in order to comply with several Colorado statutes pertaining to property / home owners associations. We will publish them on our website, www.bulldomingoranch.org when completed. Gotta love those guys in Denver!
Not much to report in this slow month of February. For those not living here, so far, we are having a fairly mild winter. Still have money in the snow plowing budget. The Arkansas River Basin is at 100% which means the mountains are getting their fare share of snow. We’re staying warm and waiting for spring.
