December 2013

Dear BDRPOA Members,

Another year is coming to a close which signals the 2014 BDRPOA Directory, included.  Once again the association is indebted to Margaret Weisenbach and Theresa Kennedy for incorporating the changes, printing and mailing the new directory.

Your Board of Directors continue to work on your behalf with our limited budget.  While most association members appreciate the income and agricultural status (lower taxes) from the cattle grazing, this year was particularly stressful due to the lack of water — drought.  The board was in the process of seeking additional water resources when substantial rain was received.

Our ranch roads are in good shape considering the abundance of snow already received this year, and the flooding that occurred in August.  The North side roads were hit particularly hard and we had to access our reserve funds to mitigate road damage.

Our recreational “commons” areas continue to be overrun by trespassers.  In an effort to limit the number of people to association members and their guests, we will change the padlock codes starting February 1, 2014.  If you are a member that uses these areas, call any Board Member for the new codes.

Finally, this year is drawing to a close, but you will not receive this letter/directory until the first part of January.  So on behalf of the Board, let me wish you a prosperous and healthy 2014.  In addition, I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season — that includes a Merry Christmas.

Ron Newman – President, BDRPOA
